Using paper cut outs, photographs and digital effects, we created a piece that was symbolic of Regina's dreams.
Below are some stills, raw artwork, as well as reference images for the mermaid sequence.
Dan Auerbach - Shine On Me
A collaboration with artist Steven Martens.
For this video, we combined digitally drawn artwork with CG elements to create a fun, psychedelic video in alignment with the upbeat tune.
This is The Black Keys frontman, Dan Auerbach's first release off his solo album, Waiting On A Song.
From Indian Lakes - American Dreams
Directed by Matt Palmer.
Beautifully shot and choreographed, this video captures man and nature in free spirit. CG effects compliment the artfully framed shots, creating a dynamic work of art.
Hands Like Houses - I Am
Directed by Megan Thomson.
Explosions, dust particles and smoke effects compliment the signature high energy performance that one can expect from Hands Like Houses.
Tesselations, shapes, and other abstract forms float amongst band members, adding to the edgy atmosphere.
Alisha Zalkin - Fearless
Fearless, the bold single from Alisha Zalkin's sophomore album, On This Road, was written as a tribute to her friend that was diagnosed with cancer.
The concept features real people from all walks of life - transgender, disabled, young, senior and famous to name a few. But while different, they share a common belief in that overcoming obstacles, fighting for love, and living to the fullest is what life is about.
That is what makes them fearless.
Trapdoor Social - Like You Never
The music video for Trapdoor Social's "Like You Never" features Merritt and Skylar in a dark world that comes to life as the sun rises. Energy waves engulfs them, but together they combine forces and explode into a supernova of embers. This world is on fire!
Going back to their roots of environmentalism, Trapdoor Social's concept for the video is reference to solar energy and the movement of a clean renewable source of power across the globe.
TWST-1 - Tribo Fuego
Tribo Fuego, by TWST-1, is an upbeat mix of dubstep beats and ripping shredding synths, featuring TWST-1’s brother Seek Selekta of the Detroit dub scene.
The Tribo Fuego video is a dreamlike fantasy set in an epic mythological world: A wondrous landscape — a beautiful girl gifted (read: drugged) with visions–the tribal fire-worshippers who hold her captive–and a foreboding invader carrying sickness and destruction to all in a fiery clash of cultures. Plus there’s a healthy dose of slow-motion fire dancing.
